| This is a museum quality Japanese Edo Period first part 19th century Porcelain teapot. It has gold decorations that are painted in a better quality then most satsuma pieces. The Teapot is decorated with six fan-shaped shields that depict landscapes. There are a lady with an umbrella and a nude lady . The top of the cover has a round scroll with a landscape with houses. The handle is in a shape of a dragon head. The Teapot is signed by KANZAN. There is another signature ( not translated) that is on a handle. This magnificent Teapot is in excellent condition with no wear to gilding, damages, or losses. It measures 8.2 inches wide by 6 3/4 inches tall | |||||||||||||||
