Japanese multi-metal inlaid Nagoya Bronze Koro
Japanese Meiji Period fine multi-metal gold, silver and shakudo inlaid bronze Nagoya Koro on four feet with a finial in a shape of Kirin, signed . The Koro has two handles. The patina is of original green-brown color. There are five silver and gold inlaid cranes with shakudo plants and water over the front and the back of the koro. There are symbolic silver inlays over the sides of the body and wonderful silver and shakudo decorations throughout the Koro. The kirin has gold inlaid body and eyes. The Koro is signed (an engraved signature). It comes with a wooden stand. It is 4" tall w/out the stand x 2 3/4" wide x 2" deep.
