| Japanese museum quality Edo gosu-blue unusually shaped Satsuma Incense Burner on four extended feet, with an okimono of shishi seated on top of a lid. The upper part of the Koro has ring-shaped smoke release holes. The feet are finely decorated with raised gold and red Sakura blossoms, leaves and symbolic design. Shishi is finely cast, enameled and gilded; it has a pierced ball. Shishi rests on red ribbon on green enameling. There are symbolic decorations throughout the Koro. 11 ¼” tall x 6 ½” D. | |||||||||||||||
