| Top quality Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) unusually shaped, with a pierced top, Satsuma tripod Incense Burner (Koro). The Koro has a mon -shaped pierced leaf decorations over the center of the lid. There are very fine gold-painted decorative shields around the top and floral with butterflies design on the sides of the Koro, and a very elegant rim on the lower part of the Koro.
