Japanese Kyoto Cloisonne Jar with a gold wire
This is an important Japanese Kyoto style Cloisonne Jar made with a fantastic gold wire and wireless technique (over some decorative elements). It is hard to describe the complexity and beauty of this art work! Please see the pictures! The Jar also has fine decorations over its lid, a top and handles. The rims and the lid of the Jar are gilded. There is an uneven green enameling over the interior of the Jar. It depicts a scene of flower blossoms that are made with gold wire, too. The Jar is attributed to Kenunken. It is in excellent condition with no dings, dents, chips, or losses. The measurements are 5 3/4 inches in Diameter by 4 inches tall. It dates 19th century, Meiji Period, Japan.
