| A Rare Antique Georgian Period, early 1800's, Ring with Rose Cut Diamonds and Sapphire, a Wonderful Wedding Ring Idea. This rare original 19th Century piece holds a lovely rich blue natural untreated sapphire at its center measuring about 4.2mm in diameter. It is surrounded by fourteen rose cut diamonds for that touch of romantic sparkle. Two of the rose cuts on the sides have been replaced over the years with old mine cut stones, which are also antique cuts. The setting is beautifully constructed and is in rarely seen original condition. The setting is composed of silver topped gold, which pre-dates the use of white gold for diamonds and colored gems. Overall this amazing ring measures about 3/8 inch long by about 3/4 inch wide from side to side. Ring Size: about 7 (could be resized by your jeweler or ask me about using mine before shipping).
