| This brass necklace is Circa 1870 with one genuine Egyptian scarab beetle showing it's multi green copper 'metallic' looking iridescent hues still present after these 130 years! Real critter's shell is claw set in a very ornate front & back brass mounting pendant attached to original chain. The highly ornate pendant portion has such lovely Egyptian symbols and designs that one would say it looks very Art Deco, as that era too celebrated that country's motifs.
