Art Deco Egyptian Revival Brass Bookchain festoon necklace with 5 oval pierced pressed red glass oval drops found at the same estate of a collector who collected very theatrical jewelry. It along with the turquoise color one were acquired some 15 years ago. This type of book chain festoon necklace ending in a decorative fold over clasp were often seen worn by Victorian women as well.
