| Vintage Circa 1945 early pre assay Mexican Pre Columbian bird man mask Maya or Aztec ethnographic motif repousse pin stamped: Made in Mexico Sterling and old style safety clasp hinge. A most talented silversmith took a sheet of sterling and hammered it onto a pitch bowl to create such repousse detail. Because it is holloware one looks for the air escape openings which in this case are found at one ear. Approx 1 Ounce or 27 grams of sterling and 2 1/2" X 2 1/4".
