I hand painted the wood box by mixing many artists' acrylics, then a pottery shard was wrapped with sterling to create a decorative finial, followed with a blue coral bead and red lace agate. Seasoned collectors know that signed presenation jewelry boxes often double the resale value! The lid decoration is usually linked to the jewelry in design / color.
