A Late Nineteenth Century English Tantalus, circa 1880. The oak case is fitted with decorative brass corner mounts. The locking lid opens to reveal an interior with three cut glass decanters. The front of the case folds forward with a flat surface and drawer just below. The tantalus has a removable cribbage board with a tin playing surface.
