A fine French Empire Egyptian Revival carved mahogany bergere, circa 1820. The squared back with a flat crest with gilt bronze appliques . The front legs are carved with sphinx heads below the arms. The legs terminate in lion's paw feet. Condition: Very good. Dimensions: Height 37 1/4",Depth 26", Width 25 1/2".
