A Japanese studio pottery ceramic bowl circa 1900. The bowl is roughly potted with a textured interior and exterior surface with a creamy white glaze. The interior is painted in a dark slip with lines and scrolls. Condition is very good. Dimensions: Height 2", Width 8 3/4".
A Japanese earthenware decorated with flying cranes circa 1900. The short bowl with a flaring body is beautifully painted with four blue cranes in various stages of flight. The base of the interior has one additional bird. The glaze has an allover tight craze and is in very good condition. Dimensions: Height 2 5/8", Diameter 5 7/8".
