This highly detailed netsuke of a man with a child cleaning his ear is a treat for the senses. Patterned clothing, facial expressions, and attitudes are all clearly visible on the tiny netsuke measuring 1 1/4" high, and 1" wide. There is a signature clearly incised on the bottom of one of the men's feet. The condition is excellent. The piece likely dates from the early 20th Century.
