A fine German Sevres style porcelain box circa 1930. The hinged and lidded box with a rich blue ground is painted with three colorful floral sprays set in reserves with gilt acanthus leaf borders. The base has an additional bouquet. The interior is also painted with small single blossoms. Both the lid and base are fitted with gilt bronze collar mounts. The base is marked with a crown over interlaced L's which is the trademark for the Saxonian Porcelain Factory. Condition is excellent. Dimensions: Height 4 1/4 ", Length 8 7/8", Depth 5 3/4".
