An American Classical period mahogany work table, Philadelphia circa 1825. The case with applied corner turnings centering the two drawers now fitted with later Victorian brass hardware. The case supported on a single twist column rising from a medial plinth supported on four scrolled sabre legs fitted with brass casters. Condition: good with some old stress fractures in the top surface. The finish is old with a warm patina.
