An exquisite Victorian period silver and enamel floral locket, c. 1890. The front of the locket has a floral spray with a pansy in the center. The ground is a beautiful blue. The back of the locket is also blue enameled as is the bale. The piece tests silver, but is not marked. In the interior, it retains its two glass covers, each side has hair under the glass. One of the glass ovals is cracked. Otherwise, the piece is in excellent condition with no chips to the enamel. The locket measures 1" by 3/4" and with the bale, 1 3/8".
