Marked on the base, "Galt and Bros" and "Sterling", this open sugar, with some gilt remaining on the interior, stands on four Louis XV style paw feet, and has a gadrooned rim. It weights 9.929 t.o. It stands 3 1/8" high, and measures 4" in diameter across the top opening. A lovely piece, originally sold in this famous Washington, D.C. Jeweler's around 100 years ago.
