| This stunning early Victorian (c. 1840-50) English porcelain dessert set consists of nine plates, two oval footed dishes, two rectangular footed dishes and a tall tazza. All are in excellent condition with the exception of some crazing on the tazza foot. The plates measure 9 1/4" in diameter, while the tazza is 6" high and 13" across. The piece are all unmarked, but may be by Rockingham, Davenport, or one of the other significant 19th Century British porcelain manufacturers. The decoration is of floral bouquets in a pale grey background, accentuated by gold border and decorations. | ||||||||||
