Interesting hand-colored serigraphy/lithography by Jody Mussof, born 1952 in Pittsburgh. Education: 1970-71 Carnegie-Mellon University, Pittsburgh.
1974-76 Corcoran School of Art, Washington. The picture is called 'Cocktail Glass', and depicts a beautiful lady with a cocktail glass, and as you look closer at the picture, you will find two birds in her glass. This is a very fine made brown-patinated bronze sculpture of the French School. 19th century. The title of the sculpture is "The Kiss", and it is made by Jean Rousseau born in Paris 1813. He exhibited at the Salon from 1849-1879. His most famous sculpture "Ulysses bending his bow" is shown at the Chalons Museum. The sculpture is marked on the base, Rousseau. Excellent condition.
