Large earthenware bowl designed by Mari Simmulson (1911-2000). Mari Simmulson was educated at the Art School, Tallin, Estonia; Arabia, Finland; and at the Academy of Visual Art in Germany. She was employed at Gustavsberg, where she worked together with Wilhelm Kage. From 1942-72 she was the leading artist at Upsala-Ekeby.
