Large Charles Catteau art deco stoneware vase designed for Boch Freres Keramis Gres. Catteau (1880-1966) worked for Boch Freres
1906-1948. This vase is from 1923. Egg-shaped with flattened mouth, slip-cast form covered with glazes in beige and grey tones. Drip glaze on the top part. Perfect condition. Fully signed: Gres Keramis (impressed) in black: Ch. Catteau, numbered D.851 (indistinct). Form no. 960 & 2 (impressed), Boch La Louvriere. 11 3/4 inches tall.
