| Cobalt blue Flindari decanter with a circular stopper and an exterior relief decoration designed by Nanny Still (born 1926) for Riihimaki Glass Works, Finland. Nanny Still is one of the major Finnish designers, she graduated at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki 1949. She won an international (A.I.D) award for this Flindari decanter design in 1965. Still's work for Riihimaki was characterized by unusual forms, textured surface decoration, and functional utility. The decanter is unsigned, but the design is without doubt by Nanny Still. Hand-made and perfect condition. 12 1/2 inches tall. | ||
