| This is a very fine made brown-patinated bronze sculpture of the French School. 19th century. The title of the sculpture is "The Kiss", and it is made by Jean Rousseau born in Paris 1813. He exhibited at the Salon from 1849-1879. His most famous sculpture "Ulysses bending his bow" is shown at the Chalons Museum. The sculpture is marked on the base, Rousseau. Excellent condition.
