This is an exceptional example of a Blackamoor ring, with a finely carved face, including tightly curled hair and dramatic earrings. The regal head is set in 14k yellow gold and is wearing a large gold feathered turban. The setting itself has four contrasting coral cabochons and three twisted gold ropes as a shank. The face measures 22mm by 10 mm. Marked 14k, the ring is a size 6 1/2 and in very good vintage condition. A very exotic ring for collectors of the rare and unusual!

Circa 1900, this Japanese fortune telling netsuke holds several ivory pieces with positive and negative aspects carved into the ends. With a shake of the netsuke, the pieces mix up within the bamboo chamber and one or two slide out of the end to be interpreted by the fortune teller. The piece measures 1 5/8 inches by 7/8 inches, including the ivory bail. Worn as a necklace, this clever and charming netsuke would make a fabulous conversation piece.

This semi-bangle is set with 5 pieces of natural turquoise in differing colors and shapes. It is 13/16" wide and measures 7 1/4" on the inside, including the gap.

This fascinating netsuke consists of a collection of eleven Japanese masks, crafted in pressed horn. It appears to have been used as a slide or obi ornament, as there are two holes through which a string or ribbon could be threaded. Notice the small tassel and rope embellishment around the holes. This netsuke measures 1 3/4 inches in diameter and is in very good antique condition, as seen in the photos.
