Dramatic, reflective, and mesmerizing, this is a wonderful pair of Art Deco pools of light earrings. These rock crystal orbs are not drilled, but rather wrapped around with wire to hold them in place. When worn, the orbs form a reflective "pool of light" around the earrings, thus the origin of the name. With lovely color and life, this brooch and matching screw-back earrings are set with cabachon rubies, emeralds, sapphires and amethysts, along with faceted rubies and marquisites. The brooch is graceful in design and features a floral motif. The brooch is signed with the "SD" and additional, difficult to determine hallmarks. Geometric in design, this lovely Art Deco locket features handsome, 14k yellow gold stripes on both front and verso, as well as a gold interior. The locket is monogrammed GH. It has both a spring hinge and a clasp, which work beautifully. There are two hinged photo frames which fold out and have openings on the bottom to receive the photos.
