This fascinating netsuke consists of a collection of eleven Japanese masks, crafted in pressed horn. It appears to have been used as a slide or obi ornament, as there are two holes through which a string or ribbon could be threaded. Notice the small tassel and rope embellishment around the holes. This netsuke measures 1 3/4 inches in diameter and is in very good antique condition, as seen in the photos.

Beautifully crafted, this three dimensional sterling box is a wearable piece of art. The interior is gilt, with a hallmark for Gaston Bardies, a Frenchman whose shop was located at 13 rue des Fontaines in Paris, from 1897 until 1914. The box measures 1 9/16" in diameter and weighs 18.2 grams. Condition is excellent. Suspended on a sterling chain or a velvet cord, this precious box would be not only beautiful, but also functional.

Exquisitely carved with flowers, leaves, and fruit, this is a lovely piece of ivory adornment. It was created originally as a sash buckle, but at some point long ago a pin was added to the back. There are tiny loops on either end of the rectangle to which a chain could easily be added. Grand in scale, the ivory measures 3 3/4 inches by 15/16 inches. Including the pin stem, it is just over 1/2 inch deep. The ivory is in excellent condition.

This is a wonderful and weighty pair of vintage Tiffany cufflinks crafted in 18K yellow gold. The disks have an intricate applied wire work design around the top of each oval. Each disk measure 17 mm by 13 mm and they weigh a hefty 20.2 grams total. One disk on each cufflink is engraved with the initials JBR. They are hallmarked Tiffany & Co and 18K. They are in excellent condition and would make a fabulous gift for anyone who loves quality!

The links on this platinum and 14k rose gold watch chain from the 1940's are quite unique. Each rose gold oval is adorned with a ridged platinum center. The swivel is 14k yellow gold. The chain measures a very wearable 15.5 inches long and weighs 18.6 grams. The metals have been assayed as 14k gold and platinum. A symbol of hope in Victorian times, the anchor has also been associated with the navy and seafaring. Crafted in 9k yellow gold, this is a very special and dramatic Victorian seal. Diamonds, rubies, and emeralds encrust the hilt of this dashing 18k yellow gold Victorian sword. Grand in scale, the sword measures 5 1/2 inches long and the hilt measures 1 1/8 inches by 1 1/4 inches. The sword is attached to a small pin by a 3 1/8 inch gold chain. Weight is 10 grams and condition is excellent. Although we didn't find the anticipated hallmarks, the quality of this charming objet is very fine.
