| What an awesome piece of early cut steel featuring a center back link, 6 belt-links and a beautiful clasp. The star design is made with long faceted oval steel pieces surrounding a round faceted steel piece in the center and is featured on the clasp as well as the back. The belt measures 27" in length, with the back link measuring 1 1/4" x 2 5/8". Each piece of cut steel is faceted and individually riveted into the piece (these are not stamped out). Original chains link the pieces together. The shine and special magic of cut steel really capture the interest and the eye. c. 1790-1820. | ||||||||
