| This faceted cut steel and peacock glass belt buckle set is a rare and stunning find! The front buckle clasp is decorated with small and large rose cut steel and 2 long cone-shaped cut steel pieces at the center; each side features a single glass peacock eye of rich royal blue centered in vibrant, iridescent emerald green. When clasped, this piece measures 2 7/8" across & 1 7/8" tall. The center back piece is a more elaborate version of the front, decorated with 3 cone-shaped cut steel pieces & 3 glass peacock eyes, measuring 3 3/4" across by 2" tall. Made in the early part of the 19th century, this set offer the imaginative person an opportunity to have a spectacular 1-of-a-kind piece which commands interest and attention. | |||||||
