| This is a fabulous gold locket featuring a favorite Victorian motif, the snake. It almost appears as if the snake is breaking through the locket, looking at you with his red eye. The locket is 10k gold and has a higher carat gold wash over it. It measures just slightly under one inch in diameter, not including the bail. It snaps shut firmly and both inner photo frames are present and one of them seems to have been hammered back into shape at some point. This is a rare find for the collector of Victoriana or snake jewelry. | ||||||
