| In glorious and feminine Edwardian style, this is a choice ring from the period. Featured is a beautiful marquise-shape opal with great play-of-color, bezel set in 18k yellow gold. The 2-tiered platinum border is set with 58 small mine and full-cut diamonds. The shoulders are beautifully designed, each set with 33 small diamonds,and terminate into an 18k yellow gold shank. Total carat weight of the diamonds is *approx. 1.25 cts. On the belly of the opal, one can see a small piece of the host rock from which the opal was cut. The face measures just under 3/4" tall by 1/2" wide, not including the shoulders. The ring is a size 10.5 (can be sized) and weighs 6.8 grams. *approximation is due to the fact that the stones are mounted. | ||||||
