| This incredible Victorian dragon or griffin necklace incorporates two typical Victorian themes, the dragon and the bird. Although we believe it to be Victorian, it shows some Art Nouveau influence in the embellishments around the bottom of the dragon. Hallmarked for 10k yellow gold, this wonderful dragon has his wings outstretched and carries with him two pearl studded birds with ruby heads. The bottom bird is articulated and dangles freely from the bottom. His outstrectched wings measure 35 mm from tip to tip and the entire pendant measures 32 mm from top to bottom. The necklace measures 16.5 inches total. It is in good vintage condition, with one repair, visible on the back. | |||||
