ART DECO PLATINUM and DIAMOND CHARM BRACELET
This wonderful period Art Deco charm bracelet features five charms on a 7 1/4" platinum filigree bracelet with 2 bezel-set diamonds. The charms are as follows: 1) A rectangular charm featuring a beautiful green chrysoprase with 3 diamonds on the top and 3 diamonds on the bottom ( 11/18"x1/4"). This charm is beautifully made with very fine miligrain bead work around the diamonds and the chrysoprase. 2) A figural person charm with the head of cabochon ruby, the arms and legs of sapphire baguettes and a body of *approx. 0.30ct marquise diamond: H/VS (9/16"x7/16"). 3) Man leaning & drinking against the lamp post: his head is a round diamond, his bottle is a blue sapphire, his legs are black onyx (minor chip on top of one leg) his hand is made up of 3 tiny round diamonds. His body is a bezel-set European cut diamond *approx. 0.40 points: I/SI1. The lamp post has an emerald base, a tiny round diamond in the center, and a square-cut ruby and triangular-cut sapphire at the top.(2/8"x1/2") 4) A wise old owl is set with a faceted oval black onyx body and 2 bezel-set round diamonds with a bezel-set round and 2 additional round diamonds on his crown. His body is bordered with 3 graduated diamonds on each side. At the base is a single diamond for his tail (3/8"x7/16). 5) A good luck horseshoe holding a heart set with calibre-cut rubies in the horseshoe and a round ruby center of the heart with 12 rose-cut diamonds (5/8"x1/4"). The bracelet weighs 11 grams total. As there are so many reproductions on the market, we are pleased about the authenticity of this piece, which features interesting and fun charms of the period. *approximation due to the fact that the stones are mounted.
