This is a 19th century version of Green Tara executed in the Ming style. The cast copper alloy statue is gilded and partly decorated with semiprecious gemstones and carving. Tara is illustrated seated on a double lotus throne adorned with jewelry, her left leg, drawn in, is resting on the throne, her right leg, extended downward, is resting on a lotus pod; she is holding a lotus bud in her right hand and a partly open lotus flower in her left hand. This is a 19th century large Tibetan stupa. The stupa, elaborately made from sheet of copper is embossed and gilded; it shows lovely hammered, raised decorations of Buddhist motifs and symbols and many semiprecious gemstone. The bottom is sealed with a wooden board which may not be original to the piece. The stupa is in very good condition with some dents and a wear consistent with age. The gilding is in very good condition with no loss. Height: 59.7 cm (23 1/2 inches) Weight: 7820 grams.

This is a 19th century set of dishes designed to serve offerings to Buddha. The set consists of five parts: a footed bowl, a covered container, three rings and a finial. The set is made from sheet of copper and embossed with lovely Buddhist motifs and decorations. The footed bowl's rim and the finial are decorated with semiprecious gemstones. The set is in very good condition.
