This Early 1900's (1920-1930) bronze Vase caved in Uchidashi technique with belles inlaid in gold. Signed on base Masachika. Height 12 1/5 inches (31cm), good condition.
This entitled "Shibuichi, Shakudo, gold and silver inlaying Okimono" is excellent
work of Katsura Mitsuharu (1871~1962) in later years.
The motif, Jyuroujin is one of the seven gods of good fortune. He is the god of
longevity and is presented an old man with deer that represent long life.
The certificate of the Mitsuharu own handwriting has been left for this work.
It is recorded that the solid gold of the amount of 112.5 grams was used for inlaying with the Jyuroujin and his ...click for details
This Large Ando cloisonne vase with ovoid body worked in
copper wire and colored enamels on the ivory color ground with a band of floral motifs, chrysanthemum.
The graduation of the gray around the flowers is wireless .
Silver lined at the rim and the base.
Hall marked Ando on the bottom, with wooden box.
8 inch (20.5cm ) in Height, 10 1/5 inch (26cm) in Diameter. Excellent condition.
The vase worked in relief with a tiger in the bamboo bush is staring at the crescent moon.
Signed on the body “Seihou”.
