Fuji elegantly, entitled “Suzukawa(region name in Shizuoka pref.)”in 1935, Jizuri, date(Showa 10-nen), title are on the left side, signature and title are written in pencil on the bottom margin. Condition is good except two pin holes on the top. Size: 27.5x 40.5cm

Original woodblock print by Kawase Hasui, one of the set of twenty six woodblock prints, entitled “Tokaido Fukei Senshu” (Series of Tokaido Scenery), subject s are Kawai bridge and Mt. Fuji. Big moonlit Mt. Fuji represents the moon night without moon well, dated 1947, signed Hasui with circular publisher’s mark. Beautiful colors, Condition is good and has good impression. This fine and beautiful bamboo flower basket was woven flatten thin bamboo. The design can be found in the works of Hounsai who worked in the west of Japan between Taisho(1912-1926) and the beginning of Showa(1926-1989). 11 1/2 in. (29cm) high by 16 1/2 in. (42cm) wide, unsigned. It is in good condition.
