| This entitled "Shibuichi, Shakudo, gold and silver inlaying Okimono" is excellent work of Katsura Mitsuharu (1871~1962) in later years. The motif, Jyuroujin is one of the seven gods of good fortune. He is the god of longevity and is presented an old man with deer that represent long life. The certificate of the Mitsuharu own handwriting has been left for this work. It is recorded that the solid gold of the amount of 112.5 grams was used for inlaying with the Jyuroujin and his cane. And the deer is inlaid with by silver and shakudo. This artist's great skill gives us the impression that it catch one's breath. The height : Jyuroujin 12 1/5 inches (31cm), deer 8 inches (20.5cm).
