Large and playful Oribe chawan by phenom Ishii Takahiro. This boxed chawan is in perfect, brand new and unused condition and measures a robust 6" X 5.25" X 2.8".
Ishii was an apprentice to kakurezaki Ryuichi, the Bizen master, for a number of years and his works are highly sought after and his shows sell out in minutes. This Oribe chawan is an exceptional piece by him! |
