Absolutely charming pair of cast iron statues of children--each holds container for plants--the girl a basket- the boy a large cabbage leaf--each figure is piped for water so they can also serve as a pair of fountains--36-37 inches high-12 inches wide and 12 inches deep--cast in the round so figures are finished in the back--no condition problems--freshly painted with rust retardant paint--not certain on origin--probably French based on clothing--have never seen a pair like these-in the right setting on or off plinths they would border on the spectacular--use as fountains or planters--120 yrs old
