Borneo Dayak baby carrier. Wood, shells, glass beads, bear teeth, copper coins 2-1/2 cents Nederlandsch Indie of 1914 and 1920. An ornate and eclectic Borneo baby carrier, adorned with thousands of glass beads in what is known as an "aso" pattern, a protective dragon motif, and with dangling heirloom objects like bear teeth and carved shells make noises to scare evil spirits away.
