Allegorical piece symbolizing Bourbon restoration after collapse of Napolean. Ca 1810 Dark patina. Excellent condition. 16.75" high, 6" at deepest point, 8.5" at widest. signed.Sauvage with the abbreviation r tion which I believe signifies restoration--has it all peacocks, putti,crown,shield with fluer de lis--this not for those who believe in one man one vote--1t 1s very high quality lost wax casting with a fine patina in Benezit as Piat or Peter Joseph Sauvage His works are in many museums and listed extensively in Benezit
