Figural clay vessel with finely painted geometic line painting as practiced by the
Shipibo Indians of Peru at the headwaters of the Amazon River (the people that made this jug). This piece was collected from the native indians in the 1960s. Blackfoot Indian leggings and moccasins from the 1940-50s. Strong design in bright colored beads on leather make these American Indian pieces very desirable. The moccasins measure 9 1/2 inches and the leggings measure 9 1/2 inches. There are some areas with minor bead loss along the edges of the moccasins and leggings. Soles of the moccasins are worn with one area of repair to the sole with a hole as seen in the photo. Email us with any questions.
