A charming English Cottage door stop. Colorful flowered shrubbery surround the windows, red fire can be seen at the top of the chimney and a stone sidewalk to the edge of the stop is depicted. The stop measures 5 3/4" high x 8 1/2" wide. The door stop weight is 5 pounds. A very small area of paint is missing from the left corner and a tiny area in the "lawn" of the stop otherwise the paint surface appears to be very good. Please email me if you have any questions.

A delightful carving of a happy squirrel holding a corn cob in his paws, its two teeth very visible, its tail upright and curled at the end. Condition excellent with no chips or cracks. This could be a Black Forest carving. The piece came to
Florida from Pennsylvania. I find it difficult to date this piece but I would estimate that it dates to at least 50 years old. 10 inches high.
