A lovely bag done in goldtone brass(?), beads in a hard edge design of diagonals on a yellow satin(?) ground, the interior in yellow satin, the frame a shiny brass, the beautiful clasp also beaded. The interior clean with a Lord and Taylor tag plus another tag in the seam that reads, "Made in China". A beautiful white beaded evening purse with interspersed gray beads (one gray bead missing)on the body of the purse, along the top of the frame and on the clasp, a brass frame, the interior in off white satin (some lipstick and other stains). The interior stamped in gold "Made in France".7 3/4 inches wide x 5 1/2 inches high. I believe this purse is from the 1930s. From a local estate - please consider a reasonable offer.

This high quality purse is a delight to the eye. The seed beads are minuscule and the petit point exceptional. Some of the seed beads in the center of the design are in two layers. Note the beautiful frame with a light blue bead alternating with a cut steel bead all set in a decorated brass frame. The clasp mimics the frame. The interior of the purse is lined in a dusty pink fabric (one tiny red mark near the frame). The bag is unmarked but the quality suggests France. 6 inches wide x

This lovely clutch bag with spring handle is splendid to the touch - so soft and smooth giving the feeling of utter elegance. The clasp is stained in the center to create eye appeal, the engraving adds a touch of brightness and the inset beads are the frosting on the cake. A small mirror in case and a coin purse is tucked into the very clean interior. The tiniest bit of edge wear to some edges.
