| AN original antique silver set C. 1900. This Tiffany sterling silver flatware pattern, traditionally eighteenth century French style, was designed by Charles T. Grojean for Tiffany & Company The patent date is 1885, being introduced by Tiffany the same year. This sterling silver is based on eighteenth century French design, with a shell both front and back. It is a double die-cut antique silver pattern, that is, the same design is on both sides of the shanks. There are few original antique Tiffany sterling silver flatware sets available today . Read about this wonderful antique flatware service for twelve, English King pattern, date mark M 1869-1891. Each piece has the same early shaded Old English monogram which tells you that the set is an original one not an assembled one, that it is an antique one as in those days it was family custom to place their initials on their silver. . The dinner knives 10 1/4" have the original silver plated blades, excellent condition, with each blade marked Tiffany & Co. Contents: 12 teaspoons, 12 dinner forks, 12 dinner knives, 12 salad forks , 12 cocktail forks, 12 bouillon spoons -nice for cup soup and for ice cream, 12 gumbo soup spoons 8" round bowl soup spoons, 12 dessert spoons-oval bowl soup spoons, also nice for cereal. 6 butter spreaders.
