A George II mahogany concertina action games table estimated at $8,000-12,000 fetched $18,750," This is a rare George II game table, walnut, c. 1727, the beginning of the reign of King George in Great Britain. It is all original, with a somewhat straight Dutch foot, square tray corners for the candles and four pockets for the chips. There are two original brass pulls on the drawer which has a slight crack in the bottom. Original finish. 29 3/4" across front at widest point, 14 1/4" deep, and 28 1/4" high. A rare table with trays for the candles. Condition is excellent. It does have a very tight, fine crack as shown in picture 6 but one does not see that unless examining very, very closely. The picture makes the crack look much worse than it is. “ | ||
