This 19th century Japanese bronze vase measures 18 inches tall by about 12 inches in diameter. It has elaborate leaf and vegetable motif in both bronze and champleve enamel. It dates from the Meiji Period (1868-1912) or earlier. It is in excellent condition with an outstanding variety of colorful patinas and verdigris. |
