A lot of 2 terracotta oil lamps. The first is an Islamic ‘slipper’ lamp with stylized palm fronds around body and two pellets before wick hole, L: 4 1/2” (11.5 cm). Intact. The second lamp is a Syrio-Palestine type, c.4th – 5th Century, with weakly molded geometric and floral designs, L: 3 3/4” (9.5 cm).

A lot of 2 terracotta oil lamps. The first is Hellenistic, c. 2nd – 1st Century BC, with lentoid body, the top decorated with raised pellets around fill-hole, spout plain, L:3 1/2” (8.4 cm). Some chipping on spout. The second lamp is Syrio-Palestine, c. 2nd – 3rd Century AD, with weakly molded geometric design, L: 2 7/8” (7.3 cm).

A lot of 2 terracotta oil lamps. The first is a Syrio-Palestine molded lamp decorated with raised lines, 6th Century AD, L: 3 7/8” (9.8 cm). Cf. Anawati C253. The second lamp is an Islamic lamp of raised conical form with ridged body, loop handle and protruding spout, 8th – 9th Century AD, L: 3 1/2” (9 cm).

A pair of Near Eastern crème buff vessels. The first is an Early Bronze Age cup, c. 3,100 – 2,200 BC, possessing a wide shallow body with everted rim and a rounded loop handle with a horn shaped point. Intact with a few rim chips. Dia: 5 1/2” (13.9 cm). The second example a Herodian spouted jug with constricted neck, vertical rim, single handle and small disk base. Intact, small rim chip. 4 7/8” (12.3 cm); Both Ex- Touma Dabbah Collection, acquired in the 1960’s.

A choice Early Bronze Age I / II red buff storage jar, Near East, c. 3,100 – 2,900 BC, with two strap handles on vertical neck, ovoid body with flattened base and two ledge handles. H: 11” (27.2 cm). Intact with earthen encrustation. Cf. R. Hendrix, "Ancient Pottery of Transjordan," (1997), p. 105; Ex- Touma Dabbah Collection, acquired in the 1960’s. A large and handsome piece!
