| An inscribed Byzantine bronze cross, 10th - 12th Century AD, with knobs at the end of the flared arms, an inscription on the horizontal bars. Some losses, but nicely patinated and quite attractive. Greek inscription appears to read "THAGIOI - GEORGHOC" split unevenly across the middle (appears THAGIOIGE-ORGHOC"), likely referring to St. George. 2 3/4" x 3 5/8" (6.9 x 9.2 cm).
