| A Hellenistic terracotta figure of Aphrodite, 3rd Century BC. The goddess, nude to the waist, is seated upon the back of a goose. She is wrapped in a himation, which billows up behind her back, and rests her left hand on the back of the bird. The whole scene rests upon a low, square base. Intact with traces of original slip.
